Enhancing Patient Centered Care
Some of our volunteers have been with us for many years, others just starting. They come from many different backgrounds, have many different life experiences and yet they all have a least one thing in common, their willingness to give their time to help others.
Our volunteers provide a wide range of valuable services to our long term chronic care hospital patients at our Roslindale and Dedham sites. They help meet the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of our patients, and provide much needed support to our staff to help them manage operations. The volunteer work exemplifies the mission of Hebrew Rehabilitation Center (HRC), "To enhance the quality of life of our patients." We're fortunate to have volunteers who do just that every day.
Volunteer annual support can be measured:
- Average 200-250 volunteers
- Volunteer Service hours from 2,800-3,500
- Over 16 services and programs

We Make it Easy For You!
We know that everyone has many obligations and commitments, and that's why we encourage you to set your own schedule. You may decide to volunteer days or evenings, an hour or two a week, or once a month - no matter how much time you give, you will make a difference! You will receive on-the-job training and supervision... and an opportunity to belong to a wonderful group of caring people.
