Description
Geriatric Observerships are an opportunity for external learners to learn the fundamentals of basic Geriatric Medicine. These opportunities are non-credit granting, non-patient contact opportunities. We are committed to providing a diverse observership that includes a variety of geriatric primary care and specialty clinics; inpatient and consult experiences; unique learning opportunities highlighting the multidisciplinary nature of geriatric care; and formal educational experiences.
Observerships are designed to be two-four weeks in length depending on available slots and based on approval by the Program Director. To seek approval for a requested observership, please email the following information to Amanda Aprea:
· Curriculum Vitae
· Brief summary of qualifications
· Rotation dates please note a minimum of 60 days' notice must be given
Please note that Hebrew SeniorLife cannot sponsor visa applications for candidates participating in a geriatric observership. We are also unable to provide documentation of completion of an observership.
