Academic Programs

Description

Each year, we train more than 1,000 students, interns, residents and fellows in multiple geriatric disciplines to prepare them to be the clinicians, leaders, researchers and policy-makers of tomorrow.

For students interested in non-clinical learning experiences Hebrew SeniorLife has many opportunities to train researchers, leaders and policymakers of tomorrow. Opportunities include, but are not limited to; healthcare administration, public safety, culinary, research, and more. Please note that students must be in good-standing in their school and meet Hebrew SeniorLife's external learner onboarding requirements to be eligible.

For students who need assistance finding a preceptor, please either reach out to the respective department or contact Tabitha Fineberg, Administrative Director, Academic Programs at tabithafineberg@hsl.harvard.edu for assistance. Students will be offered rotations on a first-come, first-serve basis and rotations cannot be guaranteed. Preference will be given to students whose school/program has a current affiliation agreement with Hebrew SeniorLife.
